HALE ABSTRACT COMPANY, INC. was founded in the late 1800's by Frank Hale and was operated under the name of Hoosier Abstract Company. He was joined in the business in 1919 by his son Robert L. Hale and the Company was known as Hale and Hale until 1938 when it was incorporated as Hale Abstract Company, Inc. and has been operated under that name since that time.

Don W. Robison purchased Hale Abstract Company, Inc. on August 1, 1961 from Robert L. Hale and has managed the Company from that time. In 1985 he was joined by his son D. Warren Robison who now manages the Company.
